Event description
Greenwich Observatory, Old Royal Naval College, Cutty Sark, Queen's House - there is so much to see and learn about Greenwich.

About this Event

There is so much to see at Greenwich! Here we gain amazing views over the Thames... and we can see the Prime Meridian Line where East meets West at the Royal Observatory. Home of the Astronomer Royal for centuries, we can view the original timepieces used to calculate Longitude and see where a canny device marked the exact time for ships below on the river.

The Old Royal Naval College is used regularly as the setting for filming ... it is often Buckingham Palace or maybe the streets of both Paris and London. Inside is one of the great wonders of London... the Painted Ceiling - Britains answer to the Sistine Chapel ceiling.

The Cutty Sark is an amazing sailing ship which was so fast it beat every other ship bringing tea back from China. Then there is the elegant Queen's House with its classical proportions and Greenwich market which is also a delight for unusual and quirky goods.

Review: "Absolutely Fab! I cannot recommend enough. Very informative and fun at the same time. This tour leaves you loving this part of London even more".

This tour will be conducted live online via Zoom. An invitation for you to join will be sent to you on the email provided.
