About this event

Join us for a child-friendly interactive walk through the special habitats at NWT Holme Dunes nature reserve. We'll be carrying out scavenger hunts, handling our natural history collection and making mini masterpieces as we explore the site and its wonderful wildlife.

Each family group must have at least one adult attending. Meet outside the visitor centre.

For any events taking place during the summer holidays, please book a timed car parking ticket per car, once they become available on Eventbrite. NWT members and Blue Badge Holders park for free but still need to book a space; please bring your membership card and e-ticket to show on arrival. Non-members will need to pay for parking; please bring your e-ticket to show on arrival.

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the oldest Wildlife Trust in the country. The purchase of 400 acres of marsh at Cley on the north Norfolk coast in 1926 to be held ‘in perpetuity as a bird breeding sanctuary’ provided a blueprint for nature conservation which has now been replicated across the UK. Our vision for Norfolk: where the future of wildlife is protected and enhanced through sympathetic management and people are connected with and inspired by Norfolk’s wildlife and wild spaces.
