Highropes, Archery and Bushcraft in Bristol

For ages: 8-16
High Ropes: Climb, balance and leap through our purpose-built High Ropes course! Work as a team to get as high as you can on Jacob’s Ladder, or test your bravery atop the daring Leap of Faith. The higher you get, the more challenging the element becomes!
Bushcraft: An introduction to the art of outdoor survival. Practice skills such as shelter building, fire lighting and and tracking animals!
Archery: Experience the sport of Archery on our woodland range! Learn how to correctly wield a bow, shoot straight and compensate for distance. Then, play a number of games that encourage quick-thinking and dexterity.
Format of the Day:
The meeting place will be: Pooles Wharf Activity Centre, Hotwell Road, BS8 4RU. (Next to the Grain Barge Floating Bar/ Restaurant)
Please bring: lunch and drink, warm clothes. The woodland site can be chilly in the shade.
Wear trousers and closed shoes (not flip flops or sandals). Trainers or lace up shoes are perfect..
Your child should arrive at Pooles Wharf between 9am-9:30am, where they will meet the instructor and the other participants before setting off for the activity site at 9:45am. (It is a 10 minute minibus ride to our woodland site)
When the session has ended at around 4pm the children will return to Pooles Wharf and wait to be picked up at 4:15pm. Parents/carers will be contacted if their child has not been collected by 4:30pm.
