Come along to a scenic hike behind Brighton Marina. This walk feels very remote, with hardly any people or artificial noise.

About this event

Timeline:

The day will start with Qi-Gong to clear the mind before heading out for a scenic hike through wide-open fields and panoramic views of Brighton's famous coastline.

Yoga in nature

We'll stop for a beginner-friendly feel-good yoga session on a panoramic hill. On the way, we'll pass sheep, cows and many local birds. The tour leaves you with a fresher and more open feeling in body and mind.

Weather

The event is fine even with a bit of summer rain, but we have to cancel it in case of wind and rain warnings or thunderstorms. You will have the option to rebook or to get a full refund if the event is cancelled.

All you need to know:

Itinerary:

Duration: 4-5 hours up to the group

Meeting Point: 10:00 am at Asda Brighton Marina. Please come a little bit earlier, so we can head off in time.

Parking: The free multi-store car park at Brighton Marina allows only 4 hours. The best alternative would be the parking place at the sea lanes. (It takes about 10 - 15 minutes to walk from here to Marina) -- Link to maps

Ticklist?

You don’t need a big backpack! Here is a little tick list with what to bring and what to wear:

Bring:

  • Minimum one litre of water!
  • Sunscreen
  • Any medication that you need
  • Tissues and hand sanitiser
  • A yoga mat (or towel)
  • Sandwiches, a flask of tea and some sweets for a picnic

Wear:

  • Good shoes with good grip. (No Convers!)
  • A sun hat or a shawl
  • A warm jumper, rain jacket, waterproof pack aways, scarf, beany hat
  • Comfortable trousers that are suitable for yoga.
