Hillsong Evening College UK, run in conjunction with Hillsong Evening College in Sydney, Australia, offers a wide range of short, life-changing courses that are designed for people who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of the Bible. These courses are built to empower you to impact the world and to gain a greater theological knowledge in your Christian journey. Evening College is held on Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm in central London at the Dominion Theatre. Each module is individually paid for and will last 7 weeks. Refunds for purchased tickets are not permitted once the course has begun. The allocated tickets are not transferable to others once the session has started.
There are three terms in the year and each term offers the choice of two from four modules.
Term One: Wednesday 7th Sept-14th December 2016

Select one from: A study of the Old Testament OR Personal Evangelism (2nd Nov- 14th December 2016)
-The Bible, Jesus and You: this course is designed to assist people to learn more about the biblical structures; the reasons behind the selection of biblical books and context of scripture, how it impacts their everday life: as a devotional, biblical study tools and for theological enquiry and developing clear understanding around what living a biblically-centred life and the tools of leadership.
-Church History: An introduction into how the church has moved from Judaism to its current position today. Looking at the split of the Great Schism to the Reformation and the impact on doctrine and theology. This course will give you a clear understanding of the greater theological beauty of the church and the power of virtues within a daily context. This will assist the learning in the realms of ecumenism and diaglogue and developed understanding of the element of a church life and how we live as a church. This course is simply powerful for those who see their lives as a ministry and Christian leadership in all walks of life.
-The Old Testament: A course designed to explore the major and minor prophets and the context of Israel. The study of Kings, David, Solomon and many of your favourite prophets to understand the context of their writing, the impact of the scriptures for the Jewish people and the challenges put before the Hebrews. You will breifly look at the life of Hosea and Amos, David and of course Moses. This course is designed to propel you into the study of New Testament scriptures.
-Personal Evangelism: This is all about salvation: what does it mean to be 'saved'? We look at the deeper questions of what a person must do to be saved, is it faith and works or just faith, the concepts of predestination through to libertarianism, reconciliation with God and your role as an ambassador for Christ.
