These two very different books of the Bible provide an insight into the character of Israel, a people freed from slavery and called to live as a community marked by justice, worship and the faithful presence of their Redeemer. Together the Psalms and Exodus act as pillars for our understanding of the Old Testament, providing a context for the mission of Jesus and offering timeless wisdom into today's complex world.
