Hilltop and Caldwell: Griff and Wembrook clean up!

We will meet outside the Wembrook Community Centre as a known local landmark and from there walk around to the brook.

For the clean, we will be based beside the footbridge at the bottom of Red Deep Meadows, off Marston Lane, where the two brooks - Griff and Wem - join. If you prefer to meet us here, that's fine.

There will be a variety of tasks which will include litter picking the banks as well as getting into the water to retrieve rubbish. The aim is to take away as much unnatural material and waste as possible and to leave the site feeling like we've done something really good for local nature.

All equipment, incluing PPE will be provided.

This is being done with council permission and anything in the water will be led by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust staff, following a thorough risk assessment and mindfull of the very precious wildlife that lives in and around the brooks.
