Hiltingbury and Cuckoo Bushes social walk
This is a gentle walk of over a mile. It is an opportunity to explore your local area and meet new people. Starting at The Hilt we'll visit Cuckoo Bushes and Pine Road Cemetery. With the option to join us for a cuppa following the walk.
On the day
We will meet outside The Hilt, Hiltingbury Rd, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh SO53 5NP. https://w3w.co/palms.tree.normal
There is cycle parking outside The Hilt.
The nearest train station is Chandlers Ford.

Please wear suitable walking shoes and bring along:
- a bottle of water
- recommend long trousers and sleeves
- money and card if you'd like to join us at the cafe
- an umbrella, waterproofs or sunhat/suncream (depending on the weather).
- anything else that’ll make you feel more comfortable.
We will end the walk back at The Hilt.

Walk grade: Medium
Who should attend: Adults. Sorry pets are not allowed to join a led walk unless they are a guide or assistance dog.
Child friendly: The route is suitable but there isn't any child focused activity planned, children under 18 attending any of the activities must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Facilities: There are toilets at The Hilt & Bay Tree Cafe
Access: Most of the route is a combination of public footpaths and pavements alongside quiet roads. Some paths are hard packed gravel surface. Mostly flat with some minor slopes. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the walk organiser.
