Event description

Description

Part of the North York Moors National Park’s Guided Walks Programme.

This short 2½-mile walk with Joan Roberts, through the village and round Back Lane, will give you time to build up a picture of Hinderwell’s story. We’ll see how it has grown and changed over the years, between St. Hilda’s Well, the coming of the railway, and beyond.

Steep ascents and descents (pavements, roads and steps). Varied and uneven surfaces.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Sorry, no dogs. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Our guided walks are free, although a suggested donation of £2 is welcome, helping us to care for the National Park.

Booking essential. For more information call 01439 772738.
