Description

This is the 4th year of Hull International Photography Festival. In this short time, HIP Fest has established its credentials as one the most significant photography events in the UK. We have worked hard to put together a stunning celebration of photographic art and we are confident of matching last year’s record of 90,000 visitors. We are particularly looking forward to presenting new work by the legendary, Ian Macdonald, who we have commissioned to create ‘Hinterlands’ in Hull & Rotterdam especially for the festival. We are also excited to be hosting work by our award winning patrons, Peter Dench and Matt Finn, the international IN&AT 2017 group show, the RPS Biennial and the wonderful Young Travel Photographer of the Year Show. There will be something for everyone to see and plenty to learn and do.

This year's festival boasts world class exhibitions by award winning international photographers which will be brought together with the outstanding home grown talent of Hull. It also Includes opportunities for photographers of all ages and levels to participate in a program of workshops, master classes, and photo-walks.
