Please note this training is for attendees in the HIPS (Hampshire) area.

This introductory course, available to all Hampshire professionals and volunteers working with children and young people, is part of a series of courses examining harmful practices. It will help professionals to recognise and respond to situations where abused linked to faith and belief is suspected. It will explore which communities in the UK might hold these beliefs, discuss what kind of abuses can occur, look at indicators and understand what to do if you suspect a child or young person might be at risk of experiencing child abuse linked to faith and belief.
