The Trustees of the Huguenot Museum, Rochester, invite you to celebrate the acquisition His Master’s Voice: Nipper: A favourite Barraud family dog Wednesday 22 October 2025 11.30 am, for midday.

Join us for a fascinating afternoon exploring two intertwined stories of heritage, innovation, and artistry.

Christopher Proudfoot will be in conversation with Richard Scott, Chairman of the City of London Phonograph and Gramophone Society.

We will also welcome Jeremy Barraud, relative of artist Francis Barraud, to speak about the remarkable Huguenot Barraud family — celebrated as clock and watchmakers, photographers, and artists.

This event offers a unique chance to hear from specialists and descendants about the enduring contributions of Huguenot craftsmanship and creativity.

A light lunch will be served in the Gastigny Room from 1.15 p.m.
