For HISA, as a representative organisation, elections are the way we recruit our Officers. This session will cover:

- how students can take their passion and drive and give themselves the authority to transform students’ lives for the better,

- what the roles up for election are

how students can nominate themselves for election

Matt has been at the forefront of elections in the student movement throughout his career, supporting or leading elections in a variety different Students’ Associations where turnout records and vote numbers have been broke in each SA, as well as working with over 200 candidates to help them to harness their enthusiasm for advancing student issues through the democratic process, while helping officers build the approaches to their goals enabling them thrive. To Matt, Democracy is his core value, his life, and what he does for a living.
