Walking around historic Harwich, taking in architecture both old and modern in the sketching/drawing workshop

About this event

Meet local artist Nicola Burrell at the entrance to the pier in Harwich for a walk taking in the historic buildings around the town including the Electric Palace Cinema, Wharf, The Guildhall, the High Lighthouse and the Redoubt Fort.

You will learn all about sketching and drawing buildings and architecture from Nicola, who will be on hand to give pointers and exercises you may not have encountered in your practice before.

Please bring a re-usable bottle of water (refreshments will be available throughout the walk) and wear clothing and footwear suitable for walking and the weather on the day.
