Spitalfields, just a stone's throw from Artizan Street Library on the eastern side of the City, is the heart of many of London's famous markets, from the eponymous Old Spitalfields Market, to those on Petticoat Lane and further east on Brick Lane. Join us to celebrate Local and Community History Month as we discuss the rich cultural history of this border between the City of London and Tower Hamlets.
