Event description

Description

Pearls are both treasures of nature and symbols of timeless elegance. Miriam Moscicki will cover some of the legends and folklore surrounding these fascinating organic gems, and provide an introduction to the history of their use and cultivation.

Miriam attended her first diamond grading course at the age of 16 at the Israeli diamond bourse, after which she attended GIA in London to earn her Graduate Gemologist diploma. Before joining GIA in 2015, Miriam worked for 5 years in a diamond lab in the Israeli diamonds exchange bourse, after which she travelled to Canada to work as the head gemmologist in the diamond bourse.

Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and exchange inspiring conversation with others ahead of the talk, which starts at 6.30pm.
