Event description

Description

Learn about the History of London over a pint after work!

This is the first or our History in the Pub series for 2020. This time we examine the diet of Londoners and how it has changed over the centuries. We'll look at the staples and also our favourite treats.

There will be four speakers who'll talk for about 15 minutes each. They include so far: Peter Ross, Principal Librarian from Guildhall Library, Andrea Tanner, Archivist at Fortnum and Mason.

MC for the evening is Matt Brown who will also deliver the 10 question themed speed quiz.

Prize draw, open mic (time permitting) fun and friendship.

Free entry for London Historians members!

Doors open at 6.30pm for 7pm start.
