In conversation with historian Tracy Borman, whose latest book Crown & Sceptre explores the history and evolution of the monarchy from 1066 to the present day, Alison leads us into a world where Elizabeth’s two young brothers were murdered in the Tower of London, and where rival claims to the throne lead the princess towards marrying Henry Tudor thus ending the War of the Roses.
