Event description

Description

Looking to apply for History, Politics and International Relations or Sociology at university? We're here to help.

We know that completing your UCAS application can be stressful, which is why we are hosting an Application Prep. Morning on 28 November 2017.

Our Application Prep. Morning is designed to give you an insight into what it is really like to study History, Politics and International Relations or Sociology at university, as well as demystifying what admissions tutors are looking for in your personal statement.

You will have the opportunity to:

• see our History, Politics and International Relations or Sociology academics in action in a live lecture

• get help with your personal statement

• tour our beautiful Greenwich Maritime campus with splendid historic buildings on the south bank of the Thames

• participate in a question and answer session with current students, programme leaders and admissions staff

The Department of History, Politics and Social Sciences offers stimulating courses in History, Politics and International Relations and Sociology that are highly respected by employers. The Department is ideally placed for access to Central London, the City and Canary Wharf which has helped our students forge successful employability links with the sectors.

This event is for students studying A-Level, BTEC, IB or Access courses who are interested in applying to study at university in September 2018.

Booking is essential to secure your place.
