About this event

Arts • Theatre

Hit and Run is a story about women who have experienced sexual violence and domestic abuse. Based on real lived experience, with the backdrop of a charity run, this powerful story, despite the topic, has moments of humour and hope, showing the true bond created through shared experience and strength even when other views on life are poles apart. These diverse women show that domestic abuse and sexual violence can happen to anyone alongside the prejudice and discrimination we are all familiar with but may choose not to see. "The world needs an eye test". This play is a chance for women and men to see into a world often hidden in plain sight.

The Sunday 14.00 performance will be followed by a Q&A exploring issues raised by the play.

The play is supported by LLamau, Chapter and Everyman Theatre Cardiff
