About this event

Brook is commissioned to provide an all-age sexual health promotion and community HIV prevention service to reduce HIV and STI prevalence, lower transmission rates and incidence of late HIV diagnosis and reduce rates of under-18 conception in Southend on Sea.

The session aims to:

-Define HIV , AIDs and PrEP

-Explore Southend data

- Explore the stigma attached to PrEP and HIV

- Identify barriers, who they may impact and how we can overcome them

- Provide local and national signposting information

*Please note* This training is free for professionals in Southend on Sea to access. If you are not from this area and will still like to attend, please contact rutendo.chitiga@brook.org.uk

This training session will be an online event via Zoom. Attendees will receive a Zoom link 48hours before the training session. If your organisation does not enable the use of Zoom, personal devices can also be used. Due to the topics we will be discussing participants may want to use headphones.
