About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join us for this information drop-in and learn all about resources for library users of all ages with a visual impairment, low vision or blindness.

Library staff will be on site alongside a representative from CamSight, a Cambridgeshire charity that supports local people of all ages living with low vision and blindness to live the lives they choose.

We will tell you how we can help library users of all ages who may have a visual impairment, low vision or blindness to access our services and resources, including audio, eBooks and large and giant print.

CamSight will be available to help adaptive technology, magnification options and audiobooks, or to answer any queries in general.

Free and all welcome. No need to book; just come along on the day.

This event will take place on the first floor of Cambridge Central Library (Foyer Space near the entrance), which is wheelchair accessible. There is a baby change and a disabled toilet on site. For full details of Central's facilities, please visit our website.

You can also visit Euan’s Guide and AccessAble for more detailed accessibility information about this venue.
