HM Queen's Platinum Jubilee Banner Parade

NI100 along with the ABOD, GOLI and other loyal orders will be holding a banner parade through the streets of Portadown in County Armagh on Saturday the 20th August 2022.

NI100 would like to place on record our thanks to County Armagh Grand Lodge and Portadown District for their support and co-operation for what promises to be a memorable event.

Hopefully they to will lend their support. If any community groups wish to participate please contact us at info@ni100.org.uk. It is important that all within our community take part if they wish to do so.

Any bands out there who were formed 70 years ago please get in touch at info@ni100.org.uk. Indeed any bands outside of the County of Armagh wanting to participate send an email.

We hope very much to break the world record held by the good people of Kesh who had 420 glorious banners on parade several years ago. We want Portadown to beat that.

Last year in Ballymena we had almost 200 banners on parade and that was in the middle of the pandemic so COVID-19 free, hopefully we will reach our target of 450.

To take part you will have to register and there will be a fee of £20. Profits from the event will be donated to the NI Air Ambulance fund.
