Heritage Open Days is England's biggest heritage festival, this year on 8th - 17th September. It celebrates our fantastic history, architecture and culture; offering people the chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences - all of which are FREE to explore.

After a first pilot in Gosport proved a success, Heritage Open Days was established in 1994 as England’s contribution to the European Heritage Days.

We welcome people from near and far to join in and explore the wealth of heritage in Gosport; our little town with a big history.
