This briefing will cover how a professional can support households in financial difficulty access the Household Support Fund in Birmingham.
About this event
The Household Support Fund this summer aims to support pensioners and households on means-tested benefits struggling with food and fuel costs. This is a briefing session is for professionals working with individuals and families of all ages who would like to register as a preferred partner to apply for HSF grants on behalf of households experiencing financial hardship. We will cover the purpose of this hardship fund, how register and to apply for the fund; and explore what additional support you may be able to offer a household in need.
This fund runs from June to 31st September 2022.
This briefing will be hosted on MS Teams, and you will be emailed a link to join the session on the day of the briefing.
These briefings are hosted by Family action Hodge Hill and Ladywood Early Help Teams . We co-ordinate Early Help on behalf of Birmingham Children's Partnership and the Neighbourhood Network Scheme Birmingham Adult Social Care.
