Can I speak to somebody about the course beforehand?

If you have any questions about The Hoffman Essentials, we’d be happy to speak with you. Either email essentials@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk with a contact number and a couple of times that would work for you to book a call, or call the Hoffman UK office on +44(0)1903 88 99 90 (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday).

Do I need to have done any previous personal development work to attend Hoffman Essentials?

Accepted Answer

No, the Essentials is open to all. If you already have experience of therapy, coaching or counselling, that's very welcome, but not required as the weekend has a specific focus on Hoffman tools, practices and techniques.

Question 3

Do I need to do the Hoffman Essentials before doing the Hoffman Process?

Accepted Answer

No, you're welcome to come straight to the Process! But if you're unsure of whether you're ready to commit, the Essentials will definitely give you a flavour of what to expect. We also offer all Essentials participants £100 off a Process booking within 12 months, if you do decide it's for you.

Question 4

I'm already registered for the Hoffman Process - can I attend Essentials too?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Essentials will give you a solid grounding in the ethos and principles you are going to encounter on the residential Process - so a 'head start', if you like - but the format is different enough that you won't be 'repeating' or 'doubling up' when you arrive at the Process.

What if I book but can't make it?

Accepted Answer

If you have booked a place on The Hoffman Essentials and cancel more than a week before the start date, you may be offered a one-off transfer to another course or a refund. If you cancel within seven days of the course start date, we reserve the right to refuse transfer or refund.
