Holding an Effective Multi-Agency TAF Meeting – Preparation, Chairing and Managing Conflict. Virtual Course delivered via Zoom. LLR wide.

About this Event

The purpose of the course is to:

Help strengthen the skills of professionals with Early Help responsibilities by developing a greater understanding and confidence in managing an effective TAF meeting.

On completion of the course you should be able to:

 Recognise the importance of multi-agency working and engagement of the child and family in preparing for an inclusive, accessible and focussed TAF.

 Be clear of the Role of Lead Professional in relation to a TAF.

 Describe the role of the chair and how to carry out the key elements of this role.

 Recognise common concerns and conflicts and know how to manage these.

And have gained:

• Tips for dealing with common difficult conversations/behaviours.

• Increased knowledge and confidence to carry out your role and responsibilities.

The Competencies 6, 7, 8, 13 and 22.
