Holiday Activity Canoeing and Raftbuilding in Bristol

Young Bristol Holiday Club

For ages: 8-16

Our water-based teamwork special! Brush up your paddling technique in our canoes, whilst navigating obstacles and completing challenges. Then work with your team to build your very own raft using barrels, poles and rope! Compete with the other team to see who can make the best raft, and if you’re feeling confident, race them on the water! Will you be the winners and will your raft keep you afloat?

Format of the Day:

The meeting place will be: Pooles Wharf Activity Centre, Hotwell Road, BS8 4RU. (Next to the Grain Barge Floating Bar/ Restaurant)

Please bring: lunch and drink, full change of warm clothes and a towel including shoes (not sandals or flip flops) to wear on the water.

Your child should arrive at Pooles Wharf between 9am-9:30am, where they will meet the instructor and the other participants before setting off for their activity at 9:45am.
When the session has ended at around 4pm the children will return to Pooles Wharf and wait to be picked up at 4:15pm. Parents/carers will be contacted if their child has not been collected by 4:30pm.
