A holiday club Forest School session for children aged 8-11 years. *

*Please note have reached our quota of sessions for unaccompanied children under 8 years old under Ofstead regulations, and therefore cannot run any holiday club sessions for 6 and 7 year olds until summer 2024. 

A number of funded spaces will be released, and we shall update this page when we have more information on those.

We will be preparing a vegetarian lunch with the children as part of this session. Please note that during the summer months, this lunch will not be cooked over the fire. Drinks and snacks will be provided although please send your young person with a drink and any particular snacks they require.

You will be emailed a few days prior to the day with details of the lunch to be cooked. We will endeavor to provide food to accommodate the dietary requirements of the group, where this is not possible, we will contact you to discuss to ensure no child is left hungry!

All our sessions will be held entirely outside, so please ensure your child(ren) are dressed appropriately for the weather (hat scarf, suncream, waterproofs as appropriate to the season) and be aware that can be a tad cooler in the woods than elsewhere. They will also need closed toed shoes and you may prefer to send them in long trousers as there are stinging nettles and midges in the woods. Please do not allow your young person to bring a mobile phone.

All young people must be dropped off by an adult, who must confirm their emergency contact details with the member of staff at the arrival point, before departing along with confirming who will be collecting said child.
