Event Details

On 22 May 2014 the European Court gave its decision in the case of Lock v British Gas. The decision means that British Gas have to pay holiday pay inclusive of commission. Read our hrlegalnews summary to find out more.

This case has huge ramifications for organisations both big and small.

This webinar will:

  • look at the reasoning behind the decision
  • help you and your organisation decide whether your commission payments need to be included in the calculation of holiday pay
  • consider how holiday pay should be calculated
  • consider the future implications including:
    • possible claims for back pay.
    • other forms of payment, for example overtime.
This is a must attend event for any people manager or HR professional with responsibility for pay and whose organisation has a commission scheme.
If you are not available to listen live you will be able to access the webinar's 'meeting space' and listen to a recording of the webinar at your convenience. Book you place today. Can you afford not to?
Please note the closing date for bookings is 28 May 2014 at 2pm. This will enable us to get the log in details to you by email well in advance.
The presentation will last no more than 45 minutes and 15 minutes is allowed for questions.
