About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 15 minutes

This session investigates the journey from the Big Bang, through inheritance, variation, adaptation and evolution to the variety of life we see on the planet today.

Using a variety of games and activities, we will look at how life on earth has changed over time and investigate why that happened and why it took so long.

Children will be gently introduced to the concept of instructions within our bodies, how those instructions might change and what difference that might make to an animal.

We will round off the session using science equipment to extract some of those instructions from fruit.

This workshop is strictly for ages 7–8 only.

Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
