About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 15 minutes

Through activities and games we will investigate the concept of evolution through changes in our DNA – the body’s natural set of instructions.

Children will be introduced to the steps leading up to evolution and some of the scientific vocabulary to describe how those changes have occurred over time to take us from single celled life through to the most complex life forms on the planet today - us.

To consolidate learning, we will finish off by using a variety of science equipment and measurements to extract strands of DNA from fruit.

This workshop is strictly for ages 9–11 only.

Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
