I cyd fynd hefo arddangosfa Bert Isaac bydd perfformiad unigryw yng nghwmni tri o gerddorion mwyaf cyffroes sin Jaz Cymru yn gwneud perfformiad yn Storiel, Amgueddfa Gwynedd ar pnawn Sadwrn yr 20fed o Fedi . Bydd y triawd yma yn cynnwys y baswr Huw Vaughan Williams , Y drymiwr Gruff Elidir Owen ar Trwmpedwr Emyr Penry Dance fydd hefyd yn cyfrannu barddoniaeth newydd i’r cyngerdd Holl Tri’r Llechen .

To coincide with Bert Isaac's exhibition, a unique performance will take place in Storiel, the Museaum of Gwynedd on the 20th of September at 2pm in the company of three of the most exciting musicians in the Welsh Jazz scene, Museum. This trio will include bassist Huw Vaughan Williams, drummer Gruff Elidr Owen, and trumpeter Emyr Penry Dance, who will also contribute new poetry to the concert . “Impressions of the Quarry” a jazz response to the retrospect of Bert Isaac .

Emyr Penry Dance (Trwmped / Barddoniaeth)

Fel aelod canolig i’r band jazz gwerin Awen Ensemble, mae Emyr Penry Dance wedi sefydlu ei hyn fel cerddor syn gweddu y byd o farddoniaeth a cerdd yn ddidrafferth . Hefo’r album diweddaraf Cadair Idris(2024) wedi derbyn cryn clod mae cyfle i glywed Emyr yn ymateb yn farddonol i waith tirweddau Eryri Bert Isaac a clywed ei chwarae trwmped hudolus.

As a core member of the folk jazz septet Awen Ensemble, Aberystwyth’s Emyr Penry Dance has established himself as a versatile musician who seamlessly blends the sonic world of poetry and music. With the recent album Cadair Idris (2024) receiving considerable acclaim, here is an opportunity to hear Emyr respond poetically to the work of the post industrial Eryri landscapes and to hear his enchanting trumpet playing.

Huw Vaughan Williams (Bas Dwbl)

Yn wreiddiol o Fangor. Mae'r chwaraewr bas dwbl / basgrwth Huw V Williams, yn cael ei adnabod fel un o'r cerddorion mwyaf cyffrous ac unigryw Jazz Prydeinig ar hyn o bryd. Mae Huw wedi bod yn gysylltiedig â cherddorion o safon fyd-eang yn y maes jazz a cherddoriaeth arbrofol, gan gynnwys Jim Black, Huw Warren, Jeff Williams, Laura Jurd ac Ivo Neame. Yn ogystal mae hefyd yn chwarae yn y byd roc cyfoes gan fod yn band teithiol Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals) a Kliph Scurlock (gyn aelod o'r Flaming Lips ).

Originally from Bangor. The double bass / bass guitarist Huw V Williams is recognized as one of the most exciting and unique British jazz instrumentalists on the scene. Huw has been associated with world-class musicians in the fields of jazz and experimental music, including Jim Black, Huw Warren, Jeff Williams, Laura Jurd, and Ivo Neame. In addition, he is also at home playing with musicians in the contemporary rock scene as a prominent touring member of Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals) and Kliph Scurlock (former member of the Flaming Lips)

Gruff Elidir Owen (Drumiau / Offerynnau Taro)

Yn wreiddiol o Garndolbenmaen ac eisoes yn creu tonnau yn sin cerddoriaeth Caerdydd, mae Gruff Elidir Owen yn prysur wneud enw i’w hyn fel offerynnydd cyffroes sydd wedi cyfrannu ar ganeuon nifer o gerddorion amlwg sin roc Cymreig a wedi derbyn adolygiadau hynod ffafriol fel rhan or band Jazz arbrofol o Gaerdydd, Care Crow .

Gruff Elidir Owen (Drums / percussion instruments)

Originally from Garndolbenmaen and establishing himself as a percussive colossus in the music scene of Cardiff, Gruff Elidir Owen is quickly making a name for himself as a dexterous and exciting drummer who has contributed to the songs of several prominent Welsh rock musicians and has received extremely favorable reviews as part of the experimental jazz band from Cardiff, Care Crow.
