Hollybush is holding another family fundraiser.
Bring your under-10s to our Dark Garden. We dare you to follow the candlelit trail to complete our Halloween Challenges: bob for apples, see what is hidden in the beastly buckets, toast marshmallows over the fire, make a wand or a mini-broomstick (if you would like to do craft please book a timed slot when you arrive, it will help us to give you a good experience)
Fun level is high, scare level is low. This event is suitable for those of a nervous disposition and parents who feel their children are a little young to be exposed to the gorier aspects of a 21st century halloween.
Come all dressed up if you want to.
Spooky hot food and drink will be available from the cafe in the barn - baked potatoes, parkin and pumpkin soup - and as always lots of home-made cake.
As many adults can come with the children as would like, we will ask for a Pay As You Feel donation on the door please.
All funds raised will go to support the charitable work of The Conservation Volunteers at Hollybush Conservation Centre
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This is a family event, no groups of adults without children please
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Only disabled parking is available at Hollybush because of the size of the site. onstreet parking is available in the area.
Buses stop outside Morrisons and on the Bridge, trains to Headingley Station
What can/can't I bring to the event?
This is a family event, please don't scare other small children with hideous zombie outfits, and please DO bring a torch if you think you will need one.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yup, absolutely, if you all get measles or the hamster runs away please do give your ticket to another family.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Fine, we know you can't always book the tickets yourself, or someone needs to book them for the group.
