Holocaust Memorial Day Commemoration
Sun 29 January 2017, 15:00 – 17:00 GMT
Please join us for our annual act of commemoration for victims of the holocaust and subsequent genocides. This will be followed by short talks from members of the Gay and Romani Communities about how their communities were persecuted during the holocaust. Our main speaker is Mala Tribich who was one of around 60,000 prisoners freed from Bergen-Belsen concentration camp by soldiers of the 11th Armoured Division in the closing stages of the Second World War and now travels the country telling her story of survival.
