About the Tour

Join us on an exciting journey to England’s stunning East Coast as we explore the enchanting Lindisfarne, also known as the mysterious Holy Island — a tidal island off the Northumberland coast and one of the most important early centres of English Christianity, where Irish monks first settled in AD 635. We’ll explore the ancient village of Lindisfarne, where you can enjoy breathtaking sea views, stroll along the picturesque rocky beach, and take in sights like the historic Lindisfarne Castle, Lindisfarne Priory, St Mary the Virgin Church, and the charming harbour. You can also enjoy the local cafés and souvenir shops, perfect for a cozy break and unique finds! This hidden gem of an island is truly a treasure, and its magical scenery will leave you speechless. The tour also includes a visit to the beautiful town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, a historically significant border town in Northumberland. Once at the heart of centuries of conflict between England and Scotland, Berwick boasts medieval town walls, a Georgian Town Hall, impressive Elizabethan ramparts, and charming bridges that offer stunning photo opportunities. This is a fun-filled day trip packed with dramatic coastal scenery, historic landmarks, castles, and beaches, an unforgettable experience on the East Coast!
