Welcome to Home Ed Popping Portraits! Join us at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre for a fun-filled event where you can unleash your creativity and create unique popping portraits.
10.15am-12pm
In this workshop, children will be introduced to the concept of the pop art movement and explore the work of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. They will learn how Andy used everyday objects in art and be shown examples of his work. Children will learn the principles of drawing a self-portrait and using Andy Warhol’s images as inspiration, they will create a pop art style self-portrait.
This workshop lasts approximately 2 hours and is aimed at children aged 7-11
Please meet our Learning Assistant at reception in 20-21 at 10am to complete registration and pay for your workshop.
To accommodate as many children as possible, we prefer not to exceed a ratio of one adult for each family group.
The price of £6.30 per child taking part and one accompanying adult. Each child taking part will need a ticket.
If you are booking for a group, we require at least one adult for every six children.
