About this event

Family & Education • Education

Join our Wilder Learning Officer Aimi and Sussex photographer Jonathan Lamb and create your own mixed media collage of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. Learn about the Diorama maps of Sohei Nishino and David Hockney’s’ joiner pieces, then using these as inspiration you will explore and document the landscape at Rye Harbour. In the classroom we will discuss their ideas and learn about Cyanotype printing. You will create your own cyanotypes using found objects on the reserve and create your own mono printed images of Rye Harbour. Out on the reserve you will take some digital photos and use these to create a large scale mixed media collage of the Nature Reserve back in the classroom.

Suitable for children aged 7 to 12 years, who may be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
