Event description

Description

Join Nature Stuff for a hands-on day, brim full of activities in which children will explore and learn about biodiversity and adaptation. We will discover the essential requirements for life common to all living things before carrying out investigations exploring 3 contrasting wildlife habitats, (meadow, pond and woodland).

Through carefully capturing and closely examining invertebrates and amphibians who live there, children will learn various sampling techniques, use classification techniques to aid identification, and discover how living things are specially adapted to life in specific habitats. Bring your wellies and a packed lunch!
