Join us as a family to make a traditional Christmas pudding in our Victorian kitchen and craft some decorations for your home.

Come as a family to celebrate Christmas in the Victorian style, with St John’s House dressed for the occasion.  Book a slot to make a traditional Christmas pudding in our Victorian kitchen to take home and cook. There will also be the opportunity to make some Victorian-style Christmas tree decorations.  

Book per family group. Each group must include at least 1 adult available to supervise pudding-making. Maximum 4 people per family group. 6 + years to take part in pudding-making. Please bring a pudding basin or container to take your pudding home in. 

Pudding making sessions available at 10am – 11am and 11.30am – 12.30pm.

Decoration crafts available 9.45am to 1pm .

Allergies

We follow a nut-free temperance recipe for our Christmas pudding. Unfortunately we are unable to substitute any ingredients so please check the list below for allergens before booking:

Mixed dried fruit (sulphur dioxide); plain flour (wheat); cinnamon; nutmeg; breadcrumbs (wheat and soya); brown sugar; vegetable suet; lemon; eggs; milk (dairy).

There is disabled parking on site.

Parking

Parking only available for Disabled Badge holders on site. Please contact us to book a parking space if you are a Disabled Badge holder.

The closest public car park is Warwick District Council managed St Nicholas car park.

Alternatively we are a 5 minute walk from Warwick Train Station.

Cancellation Policy

  • Tickets cannot be refunded or returned.
  • Refunds will not be offered for non-attendance at an event.
  • Tickets are not transferable and accordingly may not be sold or passed to any third party
  • Free tickets can be cancelled at any time via Eventbrite.

We reserve the right to reschedule, postpone or cancel an event at any time.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking, we will offer you an alternative date where possible. If an alternative date is not possible, we will issue you a full refund for your ticket cost.

We cannot be held responsible for any other costs incurred to you due to the cancellation of an event.

Do you offer a carers ticket?

We can offer one free ticket to a carer accompanying a paying attendee. Please contact heritagelearning@warwickshire.gov.uk to book. Accompanying carers must be booked in advance. If an accompanying carer has not booked in advance they may not be admitted.
