Home for Good will be launching in Leicester with a special event on Friday 20 January at City Hall. Bringing together churches and partners from across the city, we aim to celebrate the work of Home for Good and commit to our vision to find loving and stable homes for every child that needs one.
The event will last for about two hours, with displays, talks, cake and networking. The key note speech will be given by Krish Kandiah, Founder and Director of Home for Good.
Debbie Hill, foster carer and chair of Home for Good Leicester says: “A few years ago, our lives changed when two boys walked into our home and became part of our family. Fostering and adoption changes lives – for the children and for those that care for them. We long to see more people come forward to become adopters, foster carers or mentors for children in care. The need is great in Leicester, as it is throughout the UK. Please come along and find out how you can be part of a movement of people, who care for vulnerable children and who are willing to open up their lives in whatever ways they can, great or small. Let’s see more lives changed.”
