Homecoming: An intimate evening with EyiTemi
Overview
Coming home to where it all began five years ago. The British-Nigerian singer songwriter EyiTemi returns to Twickenham for an intimate homecoming performance at the beautiful Colne Road Studios, surrounded by the community that nurtured her artistic journey.
Known for her genre-bending sound encompassing soul, jazz, afro, folk, gospel and spoken word, Eyitemi’s music is personal, self written and rich with intention 'I feel I have a voice in my piece of earth and my ambition is to express this honestly through my music'.
With her heart rooted in Jazz, 2x BBC Jazz Awards innovation panel judge EyiTemi, walks a path that is comfortably and firmly, her own. This intimate gig concludes a special three part series that celebrates her Afro roots
You’ll hear unreleased music and re-imagined tracks spanning three albums including the well-received latest single, Fighter (recently featured on Jazz FM's late track of the week).
