This is a conference for all organisations and groups who are in any way involved in the homeless sector in Bedford and Central Bedfordshire. Homelessness legislation is changing in England with the introduction of the Homelessness Reduction Act in April this year, and all organisations - large and small - need to understand those changes, and what it means to them and their staff. Are you ready for the changes? Do you know how it will impact on your service?

Headline speaker and conference Chair, Andy Gale, is a Housing Consultant and former DCLG Practitioner Adviser for local authorities. The conference will also include presentations by the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (formerly DCLG), the voluntary sector and the two local authorities. There will be networking opportunities, and a free buffet lunch.

The event is completely free to professionals, but non-attendance on the day will incur a charge of £25, as this is a catered event. Places are limited, so please book early.
