Review:

HELP! I’m a Homeschool Mum... Not a Teacher!” 😅
Hi, I’m Leah. I’ve got two little humans under 10 — one with autism, one with attitude — and I’m winging this homeschooling thing with a dodgy printer and a dream.

My timetable’s a mess, my confidence is low, and let’s be real… I Google “what should a 6-year-old know” more than I care to admit.

But then I found HomEdTech Assist – the app that holds your hand, not judges your snacks. 🙌
It helps with planning, assessing, actually understanding your child’s progress — even if you're juggling sensory meltdowns and snack demands every 5 minutes.

Come to our Coffee Morning ☕:
✨ Build a vision board with your kids
✨ Try a fun creative activity (all materials on us!)
✨ Get early access to the app that’s saving my sanity
✨ Free eBooks, snacks, and support from real mums (not robots)

Hosted by The Homeschool Head – Asherah Rose, former Headteacher and real-life wondermum.

👋 No pressure. No experience needed. Just come as you are — tired bun and all.

You’ve got this… and we’ve got you. 💛

Frequently asked questions

1. What exactly is the Homeschool Coffee Morning?

It’s a relaxed, in-person meet-up for homeschooling parents and their children to connect, create, and explore the new HomEdTech Assist platform — with creative activities, free resources, and real talk.

2. Can I bring my children?

Absolutely! Kids are not only welcome, they’re part of the fun. The vision board activity is designed for parents and children to do together.

3. Do I need to be an experienced homeschooler to attend?

Not at all! Whether you’re just starting out or have been homeschooling for years, this is a safe, supportive space for every stage of the journey.

4. What is HomEdTech Assist?

It’s an innovative online platform created by parents, for parents — designed to help you plan, deliver, and assess learning at home (especially if you’re juggling SEND needs, work, and everything else).

5. What will happen on the day?

You’ll meet other parents, take part in a creative timetable vision board activity, hear how HomEdTech Assist works, get answers to your homeschooling questions, and leave with free eBooks, resources, and new ideas.

6. Is there a cost to attend?

Nope! It’s completely free. Just bring yourself, your child, and your homeschooling questions. We’ve got everything else covered — materials, refreshments, and smiles.

7. Who’s running the event?

It’s hosted by Asherah Rose, aka The Homeschool Head — a homeschooling mum, qualified former Headteacher, and SEND specialist who truly understands the ups and downs. In partnership with BOOST EDUCATION! https://boosteducation.co.uk/centres/tuition-centre-walsall/

8. What age is the event suitable for?

We welcome children under 10 (though older siblings are welcome too). The activities are designed to be flexible and creative, not sit-down-and-silent.

9. Will there be food or drinks?

Yes! We’ll have tea, coffee, squash, and light refreshments — because no good conversation ever started on an empty stomach.

10. I feel nervous – will I fit in?

100% yes. We’re all just doing our best. There’s no judgment here — just real support, new friends, and a bit of laughter.

11. Do I need to bring anything?

Nope! We provide all materials for the activity. Just bring your child, your curiosity, and maybe a notepad if you love a good to-do list.

12. How do I sign up or find out more?

Easy! Register at www.homedtechassist.co.uk or WhatsApp us on 07939963184 — we’ll send you all the details.
