What do I need to bring?

Yourself and a knit garment like a sock or t-shirt with a small hole or worn area you'd like to mend. We'll be using oranges and jars as mending surfaces so you can take any in-progess work home.

The closest car park is at Abbey Foregate SY2 6AH, though there are many options around Shrewsbury.

What teaching methods will be used?

There will be pre-made examples available to inspect, I'll be demonstrating the techniques repeatedly, and going around to show everyone up close if required, and I'll have a handout available to refer to during class and take away with you.

Is this class suitable for students with additional learning needs?

I do not have a qualification or significant experience teaching those with additional learning needs. If you would like to take this class, please contact me ahead of time. I can create a special ticket for a learning support assistant to attend for free. This needs to be arranged before the class.

Why is there an age restriction?

I only have experience teaching adults, and I want to ensure that everyone has the best possible outcome.
