Welcome to the Hong Kong Watch music concert 2024.

Come and join Hong Kong Watch for an evening of music with award-winning pianist and artist Ricker Choi, and guest cellist David Wong. The performance will feature works by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Bach, as well as Ricker’s piano composition “Hong Kong Rhapsody” (香港狂想曲).

Venue: St Gabriel’s Church, Pimlico, Warwick Square, London SW1V 2AD

The concert runs for 2 hours with a 20-minute interval. The programme is subject to change.

Ticket price zones and types
There are three ticket price zones: £8 (restricted view), £15 (standard), and £20 (VIP). You can also choose between a regular ticket or a ticket with a non-alcoholic beverage included.

Please note:

Balcony seats are accessed via a stone staircase, and are not recommended for children, the elderly and people with accessibility needs.
Balcony seats (row AA, BB, and CC) number 12 and 13 are not connected and separated by a barrier.
For seats in zones with restricted views, the view of the stage may be obstructed by the pillars in the church venue.

Ricker Choi | Piano
Ricker is an award-winning pianist and a prolific artist. Having performed in festivals and recitals in Toronto and internationally, Ricker has won numerous awards, including 2nd prize from Berlin International Amateur Piano Competition (2010) and 3rd prize from Concours International de Grands Amateurs de Piano (2012). His most memorable performances were at the Berlin Philharmonie’s 2500 seat Großer Saal and at Paris’ 1000 seat Salle Gaveau. His protest art has been exhibited internationally, including Hong Kong, New York, London, Toronto, Edmonton, Alberta, Dublin, Tokyo and Prague. Ricker was threatened with arrest under the National Security Law due to his art and piano composition “Hong Kong Rhapsody” (香港狂想曲).

David Wong | Cello
For the past thirty years, David has performed in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Poland, South Korea, Taiwan, Uruguay, the United Kingdom and the United States. In summer 2014, he was invited to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the largest arts festival in the world.
