Description

The Greater Manchester Combined Authority, in partnership with Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, the Urban Transport Group and Innovate UK are hosting an information session on the upcoming 2019 Horizon 2020 calls under two themes:

The Horizon 2020 programme is the EU’s research and innovation funding programme with over €1 billion allocated to 2018-19.

Delegates will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet the UK National Contact Points (NCPs) and get valuable insights on the forthcoming 2019 call topics.

  • Discuss project ideas with the NCPs.

  • Hear about the support available locally and nationally to develop applications and consortiums.

  • Discuss tips to achieve success in Horizon 2020.

  • Learn about other transnational funding opportunities relevant to the Energy and the Environment field.

Programme

The Information Session will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm. During the Session we will have presentations from both NCPs as well as case studies from organisations already involved in Horizon 2020 projects.

A project surgery session with the NCPs will also be run in the afternoon. If you are interested to have a 1-2-1 discussion with one of the NCPs please contact María González at the GMCA.
