What is The Hub?

The Hub shares Bible-based Health & Wellness Education through Events, Talks, Workshops & Delivering Wellbeing Boxes to women in Edinburgh.

What are The Hub events like?

The Hub is a CHRISTIAN initiative that hosts events, meaning there will be references to what the Bible says and you will hear Biblical encouragement to lift you up - Spirit, Soul, Mind & Body. However, our events are NOT religious. Our events are warm, hospitable  and uplifting by design.

Are the events for women only?

Our retreats are specially & uniquely designed for women due to the nature & depth of the topics we discuss. Non-binary people are welcomed to join if they feel comfortable participating in open discussions around feminine topics. If in doubt, please get in touch with us. We are happy to talk.

Question 4

How many participants do you host per event?

Accepted Answer

There is a maximum of 24 people per event and a minimum of 12 to hold an event. If insufficient numbers are booked, the event may be cancelled, as it may not be economically viable to host it.

What is the CORE focus of each event?

All of our events are designed to restore your WHOLE being, not just one aspect of you as is often the case. Therefore, our events are focused on restoring your SPIRIT, SOUL, MIND & BODY.

What is the minimum age to attend?

All participants must be adults aged 18 and over.

Can I come alone?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you may attend alone or with others you know. However, encourage you to invite other women in your family or friend circles to bring along!

What type of refreshments do you serve during the event?

We ONLY offer healthy foods & snacks throught our events in Edinburgh. There is plenty of tea, coffee, water and fruit juices available in abundance.

What is the smoking/Drug Use policy?

Accepted Answer

Our events are non-smoking events. You may not smoke cigarettes or vapes indoors or outdoors except in a smoking designated area outside the venue at all times. The use of illicit drugs is totally prohibited at this event!

Question 10

What if I have food allergy issues?

Accepted Answer

You must notify our management of any food allergies and/or medicinal allergins that you may have to food items such as: seasonings, herbs, nuts, curries, peppers, wheat, oats, nuts, soy or other food items. We accept no responsibility for any accidental exposure to food allergens.

THE HUB contracts third-party vendors to provide catering meals to Participants. As such, THE HUB does not guarantee an allergen-free environment. Participants must be aware they will be exposed to food, activities, tangibles, and persons which may result in exposure to allergens

What is your food allergy disclaimer policy? Part 2

Accepted Answer

Participant acknowledges the assumption of the risk. Participants shall be fully responsible for any medical costs or expenses related to allergic reactions, food sickness, food poisoning or any other related conditions.
