About this event

From the first period to perimenopause, menopause, and all the wonderfully weird hormonal fluctuations in between, we’ll explore the different life stages women navigate. Whether you are here to better understand your own body, or to support the women in your life, you’ll leave feeling informed and ready to advocate for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Join host Emma O'Hanlon in welcoming Women’s Health Coach, Shelly Hackett, home from New York for a talk dedicated to raising awareness around women’s life cycles.

Shelly is a Lecturer at a Personal Training College in Manhattan, where she teaches anatomy, physiology, and practical exercise coaching. She is also the Co-Founder of Sláinte Retreats, a wellness company dedicated to advancing knowledge and education around women’s health and well-being.

Before moving to the US in 2013, Shelly worked as a nurse for over a decade. Having devoted most of her adult life to health, fitness, and now specifically women’s health, she is thrilled to share her work back on home soil.
