The venue is LVAC - The Wireless-Free Farm, what does that mean?

It means that no wirless devices are allowed on the farm apart from in the guest car park. For example mobile phones, fit bits, apple watches, blue tooth headphones, etc., etc. please leave all your wirless-devices in the car. Thank You. We are happy to take pictures during the course for you.

What are the benefits of this 5 day course?

You will be able to achieve harmony whilst handling horses on a daily basis with ease, the foundation you need to build amazing partnerships with horses. This starts your journey of self-discovery and empowerment to gain confidence and certainty in everything you do with horses from the ground up.

Can I stay at the farm during the course?

Yes, we offer self-contained guest suite accomodation as part of our shared farm house. We have double beds as well as twin bed arrangments to choose from. Each room has either en-suite or private bathroom arrangements. The course cost does NOT include accommodation, please check availability.

Do I need previous experience with horses to join the course?

There is NO previouse experience with horses neccessary to attend this course. This is a very different way of interacting with horses to riding or any other equestrian sport. We find that the benefits are the same for those with and without experience.

Will we be riding the horses?

There is NO horse riding element during this 5 day course.

What should I wear during the course?

Please wear outdoor clothing to suit the weather and sturdy walking boots or similar. We will provide helmets for your safety if you would like to wear one.

Are there any provisions for refreshments during the course?

All drinks and snacks are provided during comfort breaks and a light lunch is served on all full teaching days during the course. See course itinerary for details.

How do I get to the venue?

We are 20 min from Welshpool and 40 min from Oswestry by car. There is no public transport available. Your will find us best via What3Words ///reunion.relishes.pack SatNav's often have difficulties in our area.

Hi, I am Iris, my passion in life is to help people understand how to create special bonds with horses, learn to understand them in ways not accessable to them before.In doing so they discover transformational insights and find their authenticity and inner self. This is my mission in live and I LOVE it.

I have spent 40+ years around horses and have rescued and re-habilitated horses for 30+ years in a 24/7 herd environment. I have spend thousands of hours in the saddle and also on the box seat, but my main interest and passion has always been the relationship one can attain with horses. Everything I have done in my life has revolved around horses. I am a Master Saddler & Harnessmaker, an equine podiatrist and I gathered extensive knowledge in horse behaviour and observation using emotional intelligence. I also have a special interest in the release of trauma and the art of healing.
